Mission & Vision
At I Love Olalla, we believe that a healthier community is a stronger community. Our mission is to provide practical, accessible, and engaging wellness opportunities that empower Olalla residents to improve their well-being through small, achievable steps.
Rather than overwhelming people with drastic changes, our approach focuses on small habits—proven to create lasting transformation when implemented consistently. By fostering connection, education, and shared experiences, we aim to make wellness a natural part of daily life in Olalla.
What Makes This Series Unique?
🔹 Focus on Practical Implementation – We go beyond just “knowing” what’s healthy; we help people apply it in their lives.
🔹 Small Habits, Big Changes – Each meeting focuses on one small, sustainable habit, making well-being more achievable for everyone.
🔹 Community-Centered Approach – Meetings encourage connection, discussion, and shared experiences to strengthen relationships within Olalla.
🔹 Nature’s Wisdom – We integrate lessons from nature, emphasizing how gradual, natural changes lead to resilience and growth.
Meeting Format
One meeting per month (except July, August & December)

What to expect in each meeting:
Centering Moment – Begin each session with a guided practice to help you arrive and focus
A Practical Wellness Topic – Focused on one small, easy-to-apply habit
Community Sharing & Support – Learn & grow together
Interactive Activities – Light movement, mindfulness, and real-world applications
Nature’s Wisdom – Drawing lessons from the natural world for well-being
After-Meeting Gathering at Olalla Bay Market – A chance to enjoy personal conversations, share stories, and deepen connections with neighbors over a relaxed setting!

Each session will explore simple, powerful wellness habits to help create lasting, positive changes in your life. Below are the confirmed themes through June 2025. The themes for September through November will be discussed during meetings so that we can shape them according to group interests!

First Meeting Theme: Joyful Movement
Join us for our first session, “Joyful Movement: Tiny Steps to Make Movement Effortless,” where we’ll explore how small, daily movements can:
✅ Increase energy & flexibility without structured exercise
✅ Be seamlessly integrated into daily routines
✅ Make movement feel natural, enjoyable, and accessible
Opportunities to Get Involved
🔹 Community Input: Have a wellness topic you're passionate about? We encourage community members to suggest future themes or topics they’d love to explore!
🔹 Guest Speakers: Wellness practitioners, movement instructors, or mindset coaches who align with our mission are welcome to contribute.
🔹 Sponsors & Partners: Local businesses and organizations that want to support community health & wellness can help provide resources, spaces, or sponsorships.
